Frequently asked questions

How are years and months counted?
By the calendar, not by averages. Going from 31 January to 1 March counts real month lengths rather than assuming every month is 30 days, so the breakdown matches how people actually count.
What counts as a business day?
Every Monday to Friday in the range. Public holidays vary by country and are not deducted, so treat it as working days before holidays.
What if I enter the dates the wrong way round?
Nothing breaks. The tool measures the gap either way and tells you the direction was reversed — for example if you set a countdown to a date that has already passed.
Does it handle timezones and daylight saving?
It uses your device's local time, so a span that crosses a daylight-saving change reflects what your own calendar shows.
