Terms of Use

The twelve tools on this site are provided as they are. They are written carefully and checked automatically before every deployment, but no software is free of defects and I make no promise that any tool will be available, will produce a correct result, or will suit a particular purpose.

Keep your originals. Never use a tool here on the only copy of a file that matters to you. A merge, a split, a compression or a conversion can go wrong, and because nothing is uploaded there is no server-side copy for me to restore — the tools genuinely never had your file. To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for lost or damaged data, lost work, or any loss arising from using this site.

Everything you open in a tool is processed inside your own browser and is never transmitted to this site or anywhere else. I claim no rights over your files, gain no licence to them, and never see them. The privacy policy sets this out in full.

Whether you have the right to process a given file is your responsibility, not mine.

Use the tools as much as you like, for personal or commercial work — no attribution required, and a result you produce is yours. What is not welcome: automated scraping or bulk crawling that places a load on the site, attempts to interfere with it or with anyone else's use of it, and republishing the site itself as your own.

Automated clients are welcome within the published policy — the machine-readable rules live at /robots.txt and /ai/agent-policy.md.

The text, design and code of this site are mine and are protected by copyright. Quoting a passage with a link back is fine. Copying pages wholesale, or reusing the code as the basis of another site, is not — individual project repositories are separate and carry their own licences, which is where to look if you want to reuse something.

Names, logos and trademarks belonging to other people appear here only to describe file formats and services. They remain their owners'.

This site links to other sites and shows advertising supplied by Google. I do not control what is on a linked page or in an ad, and a link or an ad is not an endorsement. Anything you do on another site is between you and them.

These terms may change; the date at the top says when they last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the current version. Florida law governs them.
